Justin BieberThe paternity suit filed against Justin Bieber was dropped late last week by Mariah Yeater, who claimed that Bieber was the father of her three month old son.

TMZ reports that the recent Justin Bieber paternity lawsuit was dropped last week after plaintiff Mariah Yeater decided against taking the young Bieber court. TMZ also reports that Yeater’s lawyers Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have walked away from the case.

The dismissal of the paternity suit comes on the heels of Justin Bieber confirming that he would take a DNA test upon his return to the United States and also counter-sue Yeater if the test was negative. As reported, Justin Bieber attorney Howard Weitzman informed Yeater’s lawyers of their client’s intentions, which is the likely reason for the paternity suit being dropped.
