Big Bang Theory Tops Thanksgiving Ratings

Big Bang Theory was the highest rated show on Thanksgiving Day after the comedy beat several holiday specials, including A Very Gaga Thanksgiving and Charlie Brown.

According to Entertainment Weekly, a rerun of Big Bang Theory was the most watched show during Thanksgiving after the show attracted 11.2 million viewers with 3.6 million in the 18-49 adult demographic. The highest rated holiday special was Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, which lured 5.8 million viewers and 1.8 million in the adult demo. A Very Gaga Thanksgiving was close behind with 5.4 million viewers and 1.6 million in the adult demo.

The highest rated holiday special was on Fox with Ice Age: Mammoth Christmas, which took in 7.1 million viewers and 2.3 million in the adult demographic. Other holiday specials included the 85th Anniversary of the Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC, which garnered 3.7 million viewers and Happiness is a Warm Blanket Charlie Brown with 5 million viewers.
