Chris Cornell sings Whitney Houston

Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell showed his respect for the late Whitney Houston at the Obama 2012 Rally in San Francisco this week with a live performance of her mega hit, “I Will Always Love You.”

Chris Cornell’s stirring-acoustic rendition of the Whitney Houston hit made its way to YouTube where fans of Cornell as well as fans mourning Houston’s passing can now watch.

Cornell, an alternative pioneer with Soundgarden who rose to fame close to the same musical era as Whitney Houston, was obviously impacted by the passing of a legend.
