The Hunger Games Falls to Think Like a Man at Friday Box Office

The box office reign of The Hunger Game came to an end on Friday when the comedy Think Like a Man earned $12.2 million to lead the weekend movies.

Although The Hunger Games enjoyed nearly an entire month long run at the top of the box office, the Tim Story directed ensemble comedy Think Like a Man came out the winner at the box office on Friday.

Surprisingly, as revealed by Hollywood Reporter, The Hunger Games fell to third place at the Friday box office with $4 million in sales behind the Zac Efron love drama The Lucky One at $9 million.

Industry analysts predict that Think Like a Man, starring Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, and more, will earn more than $30 million by the end of the weekend.

After 28 days at the top of the box office, The Hunger Games has grossed over $500 million worldwide.
