Ryan Seacrest will remain the host of American Idol for two more seasons after Seacrest signed a new deal that will pay him $15 million per year.

On Monday night it was revealed that Ryan Seacrest agreed to a new deal to remain as host of Fox’s American Idol. Although earlier speculation had it that Ryan Seacrest could leave American Idol this season when his contract expired, Seacrest revealed on the Today show that he would return as host of Idol despite the rumors of his exit.

In staying with American Idol, Ryan Seacrest agreed to a two year contract extension that will pay him $15 million per year.

The American Idol hosting extension of Ryan Seacrest comes on the heels of E! Entertainment reaching a new deal with Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian family for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which Seacrest executive produces.
