James Bond Honored in 50th Anniversary Special

CBS celebrated the 50th anniversary of James Bond on Friday with a Bond special that looked back at some of the most memorable moments in the 007 franchise.

James Bond, the most famous British secret agent of our time, was honored by CBS on Friday with a 50th anniversary special that chronicled the history of the Bond franchise from today with Skyfall to the first Bond film, Dr. No.

As die-hard fans know, several British actors have stepped into the secret agent shoes of James Bond throughout the years, including Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby, Pierce Brosnan, and current Bond, Daniel Craig.

In the special, fans got a look at all of the James Bond actors who have said the famous introductory line, “The name’s Bond, James Bond!” As well, fans also got a recap of the many Bond girls the franchise has produced, including Pussy Galore from Goldfinger to Halle Berry as Jinx in Die Another Day.

The 23rd film in the James Bond franchise, Skyfall, will be released on November 9 and stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, and Bérénice Marlohe.
