Once Upon a Time: Fantasy and Reality Collide

6 years ago by Nadya Vlassoff

Once Upon a Time returns to the ABC airwaves on Sunday for Season 2 with the curse broken on the town of Storybrooke after a thrilling first season finale.

The Storybrooke residents now remember everything that happened during their time in the Enchanted Forest as fantasy and reality begin to merge.

Actor Robert Carlyle as Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold injects magic back into Storybrooke in an effort to best Regina (Lana Parrilla). This time, however, there won’t be a curse to separate fantasy and reality. Also in Season 2, Prince Phillip (Josh Dallas) awakens Aurora (Sarah Bolger) in the Enchanted Forest only to learn that Mulan (Jamie Chung) needs to confront a deadly enemy.

Now that Prince Charming and Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) are back as David and Mary Margaret, will their engagement be able to survive Mr. Gold’s wizardry? Will the townsfolk of Storybrooke be able to navigate a newly blended reality?

Once Upon a Time returns to ABC September 30 at 8/7c.
