Marvel released four new Iron Man 3 photos that give fans an early look at Tony Stark and the Patriot Armour ahead of the May 2, 2013 premiere of the third film in the franchise.
The four new Iron Man 3 photos showcase a few key elements in the third Iron Man movie, including the new armour designed by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. The image of a broken and cracked Iron Man helmet emphasizes the trouble that Stark will encounter as he struggles to deal with his own inner demons while saving the ones he loves.
Interestingly, the new photos introduce fans to Rebecca Hall in the role of scientist Maya Hansen from the Iron Man Extremis storyline in the comic book series. Hansen helps Stark bridge the gap between human and machine.
The full Iron Man 3 trailer recently gave fans an early look at the darker, edgier side of Tony Stark’s latest journey as Iron Man. The trailer opens with an ominous message from Iron Man following the events in The Avengers, “I’ve got a lot of apologies to make,” admits Stark.
Although fans now have new photos to check out, three of the four new Iron Man 3 photos were seen in trailer.
