The final trailer for Zero Dark Thirty was released this week following four Golden Globe nominations for the upcoming Kathryn Bigelow directed drama.

In the newly released final trailer for Zero Dark Thirty, bad news sets the tone as Jessica Chastain’s CIA analyst character, Maya, meets station chief Joseph Bradley, played by actor Kyle Chandler. As the higher ups debate Maya’s experience, intelligence and military operatives are still no closer to catching Osama Bin Laden. The team goes undercover as “ghosts” in an effort avoid detection in a mission that has a 60% chance of locating Bin laden.

At the mid-point of the final trailer, fans hear the brilliant use of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” by the Scala and Kolacny Brothers childrens choir as the musical backdrop to the dramatic and thrilling events that play out. The haunting Metallica hit sets the perfect tone with the lyrics to “Nothing Else Matters” as the team embarks on the dangerous mission to find Osama Bin Laden.

Directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), Zero Dark Thirty stars Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Chris Pratt, Kyle Chandler, Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, and Jennifer Ehle.

For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar(R) winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.

Zero Dark Thirty hits theaters on January 11 after limited releases in New York and Los Angeles on December 19.
