1600 Penn returns to NBC on Thursday, January 10 to continue the debut season of White House comedy with the First but dysfunctional Gilchrist family.

The cast of 1600 Penn were on hand at the recent Television Cristics Association Winter Press event in Los Angeles where stars Bill Pullman, Josh Gad, Jenna Elfman joined executive producers Mike Royce, Jon Lovett, and Jason Winer to swap stories about the unique comedy, their experiences within the stories, and the chemistry of the cast.

Also in the TCA interview, NBCUDirect’s Janine Brady gets the 1600 Penn scoop from young actors Amara Miller and Benjamin Stockham who reveal what it’s like to work in a replica of the Oval Office.

After playing the President of the United States in the blockbuster Independence Day, Bill Pullman returns to the fictional White House for a lot more fun.

“It’s an honor to know that I can demand a few things,” admitted Pullman, “like that my ties fall in the exact right place.”

1600 Penn stars Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman as the President of the United States and the First Lady, the Gilchrists, an average American family dealing with all the everyday issues.

1600 Penn returns to NBC Thursday, January 10 at 9:30/8:30c.
