Destiny’s Child releases “Nuclear” from their new compilation album “Love Songs”

Destiny’s Child released their first new song in eight years called “Nuclear” ahead of the all-girl group’s upcoming compilation album “Love Songs”.

Only a day after Beyonce announced the upcoming Destiny’s Child release of the group’s “Love Songs” album, the R&B trio’s new song “Nuclear” made its way online.

“Nuclear” was first released on Friday by Mashable and hosted on Soundcloud. The song will appear on the upcoming January 29 release of “Love Songs” that features thirteen of the group’s most-recognized slow jam singles. The new track was produced by Pharrell Williams who co-wrote with Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy, and Lonny Bereal. Beyoncé and Bereal collaborated on the song’s vocal production.

After multiple lineup changes and 50 million albums sold, Destiny’s Child took a break in 2005 before Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams were back in the studio for their latest release.

In tandem with “Love Songs”, Destiny’s Child will also perform the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3.

Destiny’s Child also launched their new Tumblr page created by Sony Music.
